He added that officers also dredged rocks and remaining coral on the shore. Later, his party together with the relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) will discuss the concept of creating the Sunset beach.
"The land at the western end of the island is quite large. To keep it beautiful and green, we will plant various types of protective plants, so that they are productive," he continued.
Fakih advised residents to be actively involved in arranging the area, both with maintenance and upkeep so that the area being laid out will remain well maintained.
"The response from residents was very supportive, even asking for more play facilities for children. Hopefully the arrangement process can run smoothly," he stated.
Meanwhile, RW 01 Head, Panggang Island Urban Village, supported the arrangement conducted on the area. Moreover, Panggang Island is also a tourist destination that is visited by many.
"We're supporting the arrangement much. Sunset beach is surely will attract more visitors to come," he admitted.
